F.O.L. EVENTS

KINDERGARTEN BREAKFAST:
This is for the parents to get to know other kindergarten parents and to ask any
questions they may have.

MOM-TO-MOM SALE:
This was our first year with this event.  It is an opportunity for people to get rid
of some stuff and for others to get some good deals.  This is to raise money for
other school events, for example field day refreshments.

CHEF SHELL & BERRES BROS. FUNDRAISER:
This is a fall fundraiser we do to help raise money the class field trips throughout
the year.

CARNIVAL:
This event is for the Elementary school children’s enjoyment.  We usually break
even on this event.  If by some stroke of luck we make a profit, then this would
also go towards other school events.

MS/HS BOOK FAIR:
This event is to help earn books for our MS/HS library.  The profit is based on
sales and that ranges from 40 - 60 %.  This was our first year with this event.
Our profit this year was 40% of sales.  Hopefully this will improve year after year.

TEACHER DINNER:
This is given to the teachers during conferences as a big thank you for the work
they do.  We thank you for all you do for our children.  They are blessed to have
you all on their side!

ELEMENTARY BOOK FAIR:
This event is to help earn books for our elementary library.  The profit is based on
sales and range from 40-60%.  This event has done very well for us for the last few
years with a 60% profit of total sales.

FAMILY NIGHT:
This is just an event night to have fun with your family.

SANTA SHOP:
This event is a chance for the elementary school children to shop for their mom,
dad, and siblings.  The items are from the dollar store which we wrap for them
and label.  It makes the children feel very important.  It is a wonderful week of
volunteering for me(Michelle).  With this event we break even or lose money but
it’s for the children, so it’s worth it.  Hope to see you there with your Christmas
spirit.  Ho!Ho!Ho!

DINNER AUCTION:
This event is usually a themed event to raise money for more playground
equipment.  Right now we are still earning money for the 3rd-5th grade
playground.  We will not start the prep work for this until all the money has been
raised.  After we have enough for 3rd-5th then we will start saving for the Middle
School recreation area.  They DO NOT want it to be labeled a playground, they
are older you know.  After that then it’s on to a High School recreation area.
Hopefully we will be able to start putting in the 3rd-5th this summer.  See ya at
the auction!!!!!!
