Landmark receives thomas edison business award
Landmark Academy “Takes the Cake” with Workplace Environment Award
The Thomas Edison Business Award 2006, non-profit category, has been awarded to Landmark Academy for creating and maintaining an “exceptional work environment for their employees and encouraging individual life balance.” The award is based on both the Malcom Baldridge National Quality Leadership Award and the Michigan Quality Leadership Award and was presented by the Port Huron Hospital Foundation Business and Professional Committee.
The award was named after Thomas Edison, who taught the nation how to adapt the principles of applied research to the business of innovation and commercial enterprise, bringing together a team of talented people and providing a creative working environment. With this in mind, the Port Huron Hospital Foundation Business and Professional Committee developed a program to annually recognize businesses that create an exceptional work environment for their employees and encourage individual life balance.
Congratulations Landmark!
