Dear Parent or Guardian:

Landmark Academy is excited to announce the implementation of a new internet service called Skyward Family Access (SFA). SFA will allow you to use the internet to keep track of important information impacting your child’s education. This is a free service to you and is intended to make it easier for you to be involved in your child’s daily educational activities. The information that will be available to parents includes the following:

1. Attendance information, shown by day or month with the appropriate codes.
2. Student’s schedules, with an email link to each teacher for contact purposes.
3. Discipline information.
4. Information about student’s grades including missing assignments.
5. Emergency contact information.

A letter with your login and password and the Skyward Family Access Verification Form will be sent home with your child’s progress reports.

Parents and guardians must complete the Skyward Family Access Verification Form and return it to the
school by Friday, Oct. 17th. Your temporary access to SFA will expire until the authorization form has been completed and submitted to the school.

It is important to keep your password in a safe place. Doing so ensures that no one else can obtain information you do not want others to view. Original passwords will be generated by the computer, so they will be alpha numeric. Please use good judgment if changing your password. We recommend that you select a password that is not easily figured out by your child or others. If you have an E-mail address on file, you can request your password at any time. If you do not have an E-mail address on file, and you forget your password, you must come to the school during school hours and complete a request for Family Access reset password form. Please bring identification, such as a driver’s license for verification. Your request will be processed as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that a fee may be assessed if you are frequently requesting a password reset throughout the school year.
